Toshiba Heat Pump Campaign Winner drives away with a brand new Toyota T-Spirit Car

Toshiba Carrier UK Ltd launched their Heat Pump Campaign on 1st October 2008. The campaign was designed to promote energy efficient heat pumps to Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning Contractors within the UK and Ireland.

The campaign comprised of two parts and was open to all Contractors that are members of the Toshiba Additions Scheme. The first part of the Heat Pump Campaign ran from 1st October to 30th November 2008 and enabled those who registered to claim Toshiba Smart Mobile Phones and/or Nintendo Wii Consoles and Wii-Fits for sales during the period. A number of Contractors were successful and received their rewards in time for Christmas.

The second part of the campaign ran from 1st October to 31st December 2008 and enabled one contractor to win an energy efficient Toyota Prius T-Spirit in a Prize Draw.

The Prize Draw was held on Friday 23rd January 2009 at Toshiba Carrier UK Ltd head office in Leatherhead. The Publisher of ACR News, Jan Thorpe pulled the winning name from the eligible entrants. The winner, a customer of Toshiba Distributor, AMP Air Conditioning Ltd was Jason Mead from WM Refrigeration Ltd.

On collection of the car Jason commented “It is clear that all Toshiba’s products and activity have emphasis on delivering energy efficiency savings to the customer. As a Toshiba Additions Scheme member we benefit from getting closer to Toshiba. The Toyota Prius as a prize is a testament to Toshiba’s investment in energy saving solutions and for me, being the winner is simply an unexpected bonus".
