| Toshiba Split systems ranges add large 600 mm x 600 mm 4-way ceiling cassette |
 Toshiba Air Conditioning has introduced a new large ceiling mounted cassette indoor unit for its Digital Inverter and Super Digital Inverter single and twin Split system ranges. The hi-tech 4-way blow unit will fit standard 600 mm x 600 mm large grids in suspended ceilings. It complements Toshiba's existing choices of smaller Split system indoor units. The large unit has the added attraction of being only 268 mm deep making it suitable for ceilings with restricted void space.These new cassettes are ideally suited to retail and other commercial applications when applied with any of Toshiba's Split system technology ranges and are mostly rated as 'A' for energy efficiency under the energy rating scheme. The latest fan technology and the use of the Coanda effect ensure superb airflow, perfect air distribution, cold draught prevention and avoidance of streaked ceilings The 600 mm x 600 mm unit is available in four models with two capacities either 5 kW or 10 kW cooling and 5.6 kW to 11.2 kW heating respectively. This latest addition to the Toshiba portfolio will enable total installation uniformity to be achieved when a mix of different technologies has to be specified.

| Like other recent models of Toshiba ceiling cassettes the new large unit incorporates numerous design features that enable easier, faster and therefore more cost-effective installation. The main unit weighs only 17 kgs and can be handled by one person. There is easy access for adjustment through removable corner panels even after installation, and all components are integral, avoiding time-consuming separate installation of the electrical box. |
