Welcome to the Carrier Solutions UK Training Academy

The training will be carried out at our 5 main training facilities (London Colney, Stockport, Telford, Wakefield & Plymouth) in the UK & Ireland. This training course is split over two days lead by one of our technical engineers.

The training covers the 3 courses (DI/SDI, VRF and Controls) needed to achieve the 7 years warranty. On day one you will cover the Toshiba VRF range including installation and service. On day two you will cover the DI/SDI range and controls also including installation/service. After every course you will then complete a quiz if successful you will then pass that part of the course.

Engineers will gain all the knowledge needed for working on Toshiba units and systems in the future. After you have completed the training course you will be able to download your training certificate via the training portal.

The online training was launched to augment our popular classroom-based training courses and is aimed particularly at busy engineer’s keen to update their skills at a time to suit them.
It enables customers to learn at their own pace, in order to qualify for our 7 years warranty.
To ensure users have absorbed key principles and knowledge, courses conclude with an assessment quiz. Upon successful completion, a printable certificate provides proof of the achievement.
From 2023 engineers must complete the VRF installation/ service course in house. This is as a result of launching the new Toshiba VRF R32 offering.
DI/SDI and controls can still be completed online.

Also now available through the online training portal, a new Continuous Professional Development (CPD) programmes for consultants, installers and end-users wishing to update their knowledge on key technical and legislative topics.
The courses are certified by the Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE), and those attending gain credits towards their annual personal CPD learning programmes.
The focus of the programme is on improving understanding of the impact of new legislation on air conditioning for buildings, improving system design and product application for energy efficiency and environmental protection.

Our CPD material is regularly reviewed to make sure they continue to be engaging, of the latest relevance to the industry subject matter we are presenting and support learning to enable attendees to achieve the highest levels of information retention as possible.

Upon completion of the CPD courses we provide an attendance form that enables us to collect attendees details so we can issue them with a CIBSE CPD certificate for the successful completion of the course and details of the CPD credits (hours) awarded. We also provide a short feedback form that enables us to collected valuable data regarding the delivery, course content and future courses that may be of interest to the attendees that helps us to continually improve our CPD offering.
