Meet SHRM Advance: Toshiba’s Flagship VRF Solution

For commercial buildings requiring flexible heating and cooling across multiple zones, SHRM Advance brings Toshiba's latest VRF technology together in one system. SHRM Advance is an R32 VRF system capable of operating as either a two-pipe heat pump or three-pipe heat recovery system, giving designers flexibility around the requirements of the project. 

Heating, cooling or both
One of SHRM Advance's key options is heat recovery. In a three-pipe configuration, the system can provide simultaneous heating and cooling across different zones. This can suit buildings such as hotels and offices where requirements may vary across the property. Alternatively, SHRM Advance can be configured for two-pipe heat pump operation. 

Designed for flexible projects
SHRM Advance is available in 8 to 24HP single-module outdoor units and supports a broad range of indoor-unit options. 
Other documented system capabilities include:

• Up to 80Pa external static pressure
• Up to 500m total piping length
• Up to 90m height difference between outdoor and indoor units
• Integration with multiple Toshiba indoor-unit styles
• NFC access to system data to support maintenance activities. 

R32 within the Toshiba VRF range
SHRM Advance uses R32 refrigerant. Toshiba's 2026 portfolio places SHRM Advance alongside MiNi SMMS within its R32 VRF outdoor-unit range. As with any VRF project, system selection should consider the application, required capacities, zoning, pipework and installation requirements.
