Carrier Solutions UK Ltd Announces Viridus Energy as Exclusive Distributor for its residential and light commercial heating and cooling product offering in the Republic of Ireland
LEATHERHEAD, England – August, 2024 – Carrier Solutions UK is excited to announce a significant shift in its business model for the Republic of Ireland, designed to optimise service delivery and customer satisfaction. Beginning September 1, 2024, Carrier will move to a wholly distribution model for its Toshiba HVAC solutions, Carrier VRF, and Vokèra heating product lines through Viridus Energy, deepening a successful partnership that began in 2023.

This strategic shift follows the announcement in March 2024, naming Viridus Energy as the new distributor for Toshiba HVAC products in Ireland. The growing relationship between Carrier and Viridus Energy has highlighted the mutual benefits of a focused distribution strategy, which will now encompass an expanded range of products and services.
The new business model will include the transfer of the Vokèra business located in Callan, Co Kilkenny, to Viridus Energy. The operational base in Callan will remain, ensuring continuity of service and support for customers and partners. Furthermore, the existing staff at the Vokèra facility will join the Viridus Energy team, continuing their roles with the new organisational structure.
